City of Orlando

The city of Orlando combines world-class theme parks with top-notch entertainment, spas, and restaurants adding new dimensions to its renowned vacation appeal. Beyond Orlando's make-believe landscape, a booming and "blooming" residential community thrives. Winter Park, Central Florida's oldest community dating back to the 1880s, charms visitors with European-style tree-shaded avenues and magnificent homes. Considered Central Florida's signature shopping street, Park Avenue in Winter Park offers shoppers several blocks of trendy boutiques and brand-name stores. Orlando is an endless summer of outdoor fun-offering unlimited boating, canoeing, tubing, jet-skiing and water-skiing opportunities, breathtaking sunrise hot air balloon rides, or hang gliding at Wallaby Ranch. Ecotours offer an insider's look at natural Florida, from cruises through the headwaters of the Everglades to bird and gatorspotting excursions.

Bring the Family

The VNAA Annual Meeting in Orlando, Fla., April 21-23, 2010, is not only the perfect opportunity for you to network and share ideas with other nonprofit leaders in the home healthcare and hospice industry, it's also the perfect chance to get away from your cold winter blues and travel to sunny Florida!

Orlando makes for the perfect family vacation, and if you plan for extra time before or after all of the hard work you do at the Annual Meeting, you'll reward yourself with endless opportunities for fun and relaxation.

"Give a Day, Get a Disney Day" Program

With Disney's new program "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day," your trip expenses could be cut in half. It's simple - a free one-day ticket to a Disneyland or Walt Disney World theme park for guests who volunteer a day of service to a participating organization. Visit www.DisneyParks.com to search for an eligible volunteer project near you. After completing the volunteer work, an email will be sent from Disney with a link to print out a voucher to redeem at a theme park for a free one-day, one-park admission. And if you're unable to use the ticket, it can be donated to a charity designated by Disney.

Attend the VNAA's Annual Meeting then use your voucher during the weekend to get in free to a Disney park in Orlando, Fla. Since the Annual Meeting is in April, be sure to log-on today to www.DisneyParks.com and sign up for a volunteer opportunity that takes place between now and March.
