Engaging in Quality

The VNAA developed the Engaging in Quality Virtual Learning Collaborative to help nonprofit home health agencies quickly address the significant issues coming to all agencies - issues that can negatively affect your finances and your position as an invaluable partner in your community. This Virtual Collaborative aims to help reduce preventable readmissions and will provides Webinars and online tools to help participating agencies understand and implement the newest and most successful processes to improve quality and outcomes.

In-Person Meetings

During the national and regional conferences that VNAA hosts each year, we give members the opportunity to learn from each other. During the VNAA Annual Meeting, participants hear from industry leaders and have the opportunity to present or attend workshops and poster sessions about issues specific to nonprofit home health and hospice providers.

Each September, the Public Policy Leadership Conference convenes home health and hospice leaders in Washington, DC, to educate lawmakers about nonprofit home health and hospice delivery systems and about the vulnerable patients they serve. VNAA secures high caliber industry speakers who provide insight and expertise on the regulatory and legislative affairs that affect VNAA members.

The VNAA hosts several Regional Meetings throughout the year to educate, advance and convene members in smaller work groups outside of the national conferences. Sessions in 2012 focused on end-of-life care, palliative care, key financial challenges in home health and hospice, and others.

Executive Briefings

Members-only executive-level briefings on current and emerging issues in the industry.

Online Learning Opportunities

VNAA has also expanded hospice distance learning program offerings to focus on nationally recognized experts and emerging issues like RAC and ZPIC audits.

Committee and Interest Group Opportunities

VNAA has a variety of topic-specific committees, Interest Groups and Task Forces that we encourage members to get involved in to share best practices
