To support, promote and advance visiting nurse agencies (VNAs) in their mission to serve their communities.

Who is VNAA

  • The Visiting Nurse Associations of America, founded in 1983, is a national organization of non-profit, accredited home health agencies governed by volunteer boards and sharing the mission of providing charitable care in their communities.
  • A forum for home health care professionals to exchange and develop professional expertise for improving home health care, from service delivery to reimbursement and financial issues.
  • An alliance that draws its strength from its individual members at the grassroots level, and then speaks with that strength as a powerful voice to the media, to the market place and to legislators and policy-makers in Washington and state capitals.
  • A network of excellence, with member agencies that have created the "best practices" that advance the profession of home health care.
  • Finally, VNAA is an invaluable resource for its members, offering access to a myriad of opportunities from professional development to valuable business partnerships and services.
